Nolan Litschewski (Lead Vocals)
Nolan Litschewski loves to create and perform music. He started Distant Edge in 2014. His passion for music started when he was much younger. "I remember one Christmas I got my first keyboard and a tape recorder. With those two things I started making demos of different riffs and ideas."
Nolan's musical endeavors really began in middle school. In 6th grade he began singing and playing piano in a student band led by the middle school band teacher, Mr. Songer. "Mr. Songer really helped me get into music through the many extra curricular activities he taught. He was my mentor in not only music, but also in life. Once the band started, he would let us practice after school in the band room which really helped us get on our feet. From the start, he was confident that we could someday make it in the music world. He invited us to play in many school events and still helps us find gigs today." |
Nate Erickson (Lead Guitar)
Nate Erickson plays lead guitar for Distant Edge. He has been playing since 5th grade when he was introduced to the guitar as a Christmas present. Ever since his passion for music has only grown as shown in Distant Edge's energetic live shows. When he's not performing, he enjoys writing and composing music.

Aaron has been with Distant Edge since 2015 and loves playing bass guitar. He and Nolan have been friends since elementary school and one day when Nolan was out a guitar player he asked Aaron if he wanted to learn guitar and then play in the band. Aaron took up the challenge and devoted many hours to learning guitar.

Jahmal Fisher (Drums)
Jahmal has been with Distant Edge since it was formed in 2014. He loves playing drums, especially on stage. Distant Edge's music is very percussive and heavily relies on Jahmal's creative and original beats. Outside of the band Jahmal further expands his skills by participating in High School School Jazz and other percussive opportunities.

Sam Swanson (Keyboards)
Sam Swanson's love for music runs deeper than Distant Edge. He started playing piano when he was 3, and hasn't stopped since. Always playing classical, romantic, baroque, and jazz, Sam hadn't ever been exposed to modern music on the piano. In 2015 when Sam met Nolan, his understanding of music exploded wide open. He began to listen to bands like Imagine Dragons, twenty one pilots, Coldplay, and realized that every synth, every deep bass, every soft sine pad was made by an instrument almost identical to the one he had been playing for 11 years. He was hooked.
